“Yes, we’ll wait for sunset and use this light and it will be MAGICAL.” After putting off this session twice, including yesterday due to a storm that was so bad it caused cars to float, I made that comment in hopes that it would actually be magical for our long awaited session.
We started indoors with some cute props, including a giraffe that was so cute I wanted to steal it!
We headed outdoors to some great locations the Derek and Jacqui had scouted out before. They did a really great job finding some stunning backdrops. This is where the magic started. Even in the tiny LCD screen on the back of my camera I could see that we were getting some good stuff.
It’s easy to see how much these two care for each other. Derek was always making sure Jacqui was comfortable and helping her get in to position. He so great to work with making sure the grass was not in the way, and that Jacqui’s hair was always looking good.
Jacqui was happy to trek through the bugs and tall grass and never complained. I must admit I got a bit wimpy here. There were gigantic mosquitoes biting me and razor sharp grass seeds digging in to my foot!
The sky was awesome. The sun was just peeking through and rays were shining down. Magical.
